South Jones musicians chosen for honor band

South Jones High School students Alex Petersen, Jordan Sanders and Zach Everett were chosen to attend the 2014 All South Honor Band at USM Feb. 6-9. Guest clinicians were Professor Gary Green, Director of Bands University of Miami, Coral Gables, Fla.; Dr. Caroline Beatty, Director of Bands at Texas State University San Marcos, Texas; and Professor Barry Bernhardt, Associate Director of Bands Florida International University, Miami.  All three were selected for the top of the three bands. Petersen plays trombone, Sanders plays baritone saxophone, and Everett plays tenor saxophone.
